1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between ECO4 Sales and Marketing Ltd TA Clean Green Energy Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”, or “the Company”) and domestic customers (“you”, “your”) applying for energy efficiency measures and ECO4-funded home improvements.
By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


2. Services Provided

We specialise in assisting eligible households to access ECO4 funding for energy efficiency improvements, which may include:

  • Loft and cavity wall insulation
  • Room-in-roof insulation
  • Solid wall insulation
  • Heating system upgrades or replacements
  • Other approved ECO4 measures

We act as a facilitator and service provider, managing your application, survey, and installation process through approved contractors.


3. Eligibility and ECO4 Funding

3.1 Eligibility for ECO4 funding is determined by government criteria and may depend on household income, property type, energy performance, and benefits received.
3.2 We will assist you in verifying eligibility and completing all necessary documentation.
3.3 Approval of funding is at the discretion of the obligated energy supplier or scheme administrator — we cannot guarantee approval.
3.4 If your application is unsuccessful, you will be informed promptly, and no charges will apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.


4. Surveys and Assessments

4.1 A qualified assessor or surveyor will visit your property to evaluate the suitability of measures under the ECO4 scheme.
4.2 You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property for surveys, installations, and inspections.
4.3 Any information provided during the assessment must be accurate and complete.
4.4 The survey does not constitute a guarantee that works will proceed or that funding will be approved.


5. Installation and Works

5.1 Installations are carried out by approved and accredited contractors who comply with relevant regulations and standards.
5.2 Work dates are subject to availability and may change due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, supply delays).
5.3 You must notify us of any restrictions or hazards at the property prior to installation.
5.4 We aim to complete all works to a high standard and will rectify any defects reported within a reasonable timeframe.


6. Customer Obligations

You agree to:

  • Cooperate with our staff and contractors during all stages of the process.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information for funding and assessment purposes.
  • Not deliberately misrepresent your eligibility or property details.
  • Allow access for pre- and post-installation inspections if required.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 For ECO4-funded measures, the cost of works is usually covered by the government scheme via an obligated energy supplier.
7.2 If any non-funded works are requested by you, a written quotation will be provided and agreed before work commences.
7.3 No hidden fees will be applied.


8. Cancellations

8.1 You have the right to cancel your application within 14 days of signing any agreement with us, without penalty.
8.2 Cancellations must be submitted in writing to accounts@eco4sales.co.uk.
8.3 If works have already commenced before cancellation, costs incurred may be deducted as permitted by law.


9. Warranties and Guarantees

9.1 All installations are covered by applicable manufacturer and installer warranties.
9.2 Warranty details will be provided after completion of works.
9.3 We are not liable for faults caused by misuse, unauthorised alterations, or third-party interference after installation.


10. Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously.
All personal information is processed in accordance with our Data Protection Policy and the UK GDPR.
We will only use your information to manage your ECO4 application, communicate with funding bodies, and arrange installation works.

11. Liability

11.1 We will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, funding rejections, or third-party actions.
11.2 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.


12. Complaints

We are committed to delivering high-quality service.
If you have a complaint:

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 7 working days.
  • Unresolved complaints may be escalated to the appropriate regulatory body or Ombudsman service, if applicable.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
